Jersey Kazen Kai Karate

Jersey Kazen Kai Karate, formally (Jersey Ishinryu Karate), the Club was originally established in 1983 by Sensei Peter Dennis 6th Dan and was then based at the Lido de France, Fitness Centre. The Club was then passed on to Sensei Tim Dwane 4th Dan in 1990 and the Club was then moved to Grands Vaux School. In 1996 the Club then moved to the Fort Regent Sports Centre.

The Club was then passed on to Sensei Paul McNamee then a 3rd Dan in 2001 and in 2003 the Club moved to the Langford Sports Centre.

The Club is now based in the Oakfield Sports Centre, Wellington Hill, St Saviour, Jersey. Our Chief Instructor is Sensei Paul McNamee, 5th Dan. We train both adults and children from the age of 6 years.

Jersey Kazen Kai Karate, is a founding member of the Association and the member of the English Karate Federation. The Head of our Association is Sensei Jonathan Mottram 5th Dan the former English International Squad member and EKF Senior Kata Coach. We arrange annual visits to the Island to train with Sensei Mottram and other senior Association Instructors.
