Nominations now open for the RaceNation 2019 Sport and Move More Jersey Awards!

Jersey Sport is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the RaceNation 2019 Sport and Move More Jersey Awards!

There is so much to celebrate in the island when it comes to local sporting accomplishment and initiatives to encourage active living. The RaceNation 2019 Sport and Move More Jersey Awards recognise and reward individuals, sporting bodies, schools and businesses who participate, coach or volunteer within sport, and those who enable active opportunities.

The second annual black-tie awards ceremony will take place on Friday 18 October 2019, at the Radisson Blue Waterfront Hotel. Nominations are also being sought for the Jersey Sport Hall of Fame sponsored by Ocorian, with stars from the sporting stage, past and present, being inducted during the evening.

Jersey Sport CEO, Catriona McAllister said, “We’d like to extend our thanks to all of our award sponsors for their support, and in particular, thanks to our event headline sponsor, RaceNation.

The awards are an opportunity to recognise sporting excellence and Move Move initiatives across the island and we look forward to celebrating what promises to be a great night with friends and colleagues from Jersey’s sporting community.”

A total of ten Sport and Move More Jersey Awards will be presented during the evening, besides announcing the sporting stars inducted into the 2019 Jersey Sport Hall of Fame, sponsored by Ocorian.
